Unlike traditional online utility websites, ToolNexus never uploads your files, images, documents, passwords, or calculation inputs to any backend server. All operations (including PDF rendering, image compression, cryptographic hashing, and financial calculations) are computed locally inside your device's browser memory (via WebAssembly and standard Web APIs).
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
Because all our tools run exclusively in your browser, we do NOT collect, store, or process:
- Contents of your uploaded PDF documents, images, certificates, or text files.
- Inputs entered into financial calculators (such as mortgage amounts, salary details, tip values).
- Passwords generated or cryptographic tokens (JWTs, hashes) analyzed.
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII) without your explicit consent.
2. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising
To maintain our services completely free without charging subscriptions or paywalls, ToolNexus works with third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense.
Google and DoubleClick Cookies:
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site.
- Google's use of the DoubleClick DART cookie enables it and its partners to serve personalized or non-personalized ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

We use standard HTML5 localStorage purely to remember your preferences (such as your chosen Light/Dark theme and recent tool settings). This data remains strictly in your browser and is never transmitted to any external server.
